April 28th, 2010

Not once,

not twice,

and not three times,

but for the fourth consecutive time the Escambia Academy boys’ varsity track team won the AISA 2A State Championship. And, on top of that the Lady Cougar varsity track team won their second straight AISA 2A State Championship.

On Wednesday, the runners for both boys and girls had to qualify by being one of the top 8 AISA schools. The field events gave both the girls and boys quick points from Nathan Smith finishing 5th in triple jump, Jarett Hadley was 4th in the high jump, and Jaylen Henry finished 1st in the long jump.
