JV girls improve to 12-4 overall

The Lady Cougar JV team improved to 12-4 with wins over Fort Dale and Lowndes. EA defeated Lowndes 28-12. Allie Brooks scored 7 points, had 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Lacie Flowers and Grayson Emmons scored 6 points and 4 rebounds each. Paige Allen scored 3 points, had 8 rebounds and 2 steals while Allie Brooks, Peyton Snider and Brooke McGhee had 2 points each.

EA defeated Fort Dale 33-32. Flowers scored 12 points, had 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals. Allie Brooks and Paige Allen scored 6 points each, Peyton Snider scored 3 points while Grayson Emmons, Lulu McGhee and Page Lancaster scored 2 each.

The Cougars were 11 of 19 from the line. Head Coach Heath Gibson said the Cougar defensive effort was key in the win.
