Gulf Transport to add fueling station
The newest business to locate in the Atmore Industrial Park is adding to their operation. Gulf Transport is planning to build a freight truck fueling station for its trucks at their site in the industrial park.
According to members of the Atmore Industrial Development Board (IDB), Gulf Transport will be required to meet all of the Alabama Department of Emergency Management (ADEM ) specifications which call for proper containment capabilities in case of a fuel spill.
According to a drawing submitted to the IDB, the fuel station will be a covered facility allowing Gulf Transport trucks to pull out of the rain.
