GECA casts next production
The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts held auditions for Arsenic and Old Lace Sunday afternoon. The cast has been selected. Rehearsals start Thursday. Play dates are set for September.
Phil Johnson is directing, with Mitzi Dixon serving as assistant director.
In Arsenic and Old Lace Abby Brewster and her sister Martha are two nice, sweet old ladies who murder nice, sweet, lonely old men by offering them elderberry wine laced with arsenic. The craziness starts there in this decades-old comedy.
