Sunday, September 5 The Rt. Rev. Phillip Duncan, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast, will conduct Holy Eucharist at Trinity Episcopal Church with services beginning at 11 a.m.
A fall Bible study will be held at First Presbyterian Church, beginning Wednesday, September 8. The morning session will begin at 10 a.m. and includes child care. The afternoon session begins at 3:30 p.m., and child care will not be provided. Here and Now … There and Then, by Beth Moore is an 11-week lecture series on the Book of Revelation. The study is open to everyone. There is a $9 cost for the workbook. To register or for more information, please call the church office at 368-5453.
Come join us for homecoming at Huxford Community of Christ Church in Huxford, AL. Sunday, September 12, 2010. Singing will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Seventy Wayne Ellis will bring the 11 o’clock message. A basket lunch will be enjoyed by everyone at noon.
Homecoming at Canoe Baptist Church will be held Sunday, September 12 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Jesse Wood as the guest minister. Special music will be provided by Southern Heritage. Canoe Baptist Church was organized in July 1884 and has continuously provided a place of worship and fellowship to the community. Friends and former friends are cordially invited to attend.
The Annual Fall Revival will begin at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 61 Liberty Street, Monday, September 13 through 17 at 7 p.m. nightly. The services will be conducted by Dr. Alvin Cleveland, Pastor of Corinthian Baptist Church of Mobile and President of Selma University.
