Mt. Olive celebrates youth (with photo gallery)
The congregation and guests of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church celebrated their Annual Youth Day Sunday at 3 p.m. Youth revival services began Monday night, April 12, and conclude tonight, April 14, at 7:30 p.m.
The theme Scripture is “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5).
Sunday afternoon, Bro. Anthony English, 12, member of Gospel Light #2, served as the director of order.
Participating in the Sunday service were Mt. Olive Youth Choir, Evangelist Betty Cox, Bro. Bradley Jefferson, New Pleasant Hill Youth Choir, Sis. Monae Johnson, Rainy January, the Rev. Michael Jackson, and Second Mt. Triumph Youth Choir.
The Rev. Brian Johnson, member of Mt. Olive, brought the message.
The Rev. Monroe Tucker, pastor of Mt. Olive, gave the closing remarks and the benediction.

Chairperson – Sis. Nora Tucker
Revival chairperson – Sis. Betty Boggan
Members of the Finance Committee are Bro. Wesley Jefferson, Sis. Shay Gulley, and Bro. Tocorian Brown. Members of the Food Committee are Sis. Liza Wilson, Sis. Bessie Mae Johnson, and Sis. Melissa Woods.
