Three Smith Tractor Company technicians – Brandon Amos, John Ashcraft, and David Engles – have earned Master Tech degrees from John Deere University.
Smith Tractor Co., Inc. participates in a comprehensive John Deere training program to ensure that with the development of new technology and high-performance system for John Deere equipment, their customers receive exceptional service from highly-trained personnel.
Smith Tractor and John Deere University provide employees the opportunity to reach a high level of expertise in every dealership department.
These three technicians now join Phillip Thomas as Master Technicians. This achievement was accomplished by completing extensive training in the John Deere University program. They will receive a special plaque and a leather jacket in recognition of their accomplishment.
Smith Tractor also recognizes their technicians – Art Patnuade, Tab Jernigan, and Keith Stanfield – for achieving Advanced Technician level. They have worked hard to achieve the advance technician program and will continue training to achieve the Master Technician level.
John Deere University credits are earned in various categories to ensure expertise in sales, service, or parts departments of John Deere dealerships. The structure for this recognition is similar to achieving credit hours in a university.
This ongoing training program is just one of the tools used by Smith Tractor Company to improve overall support and service to customers in their trade area.
